Welcome!
Silver Fern Newfoundlands is, located in Barrie, Ontario, 1 hour North West of Toronto. We are breeders of C.K.C (Canadian Kennel Club) Registered Purebred Black Newfoundland Dogs.
We health test all of our dogs for Cystinuria, Eyes and Von Willebrands , OFA check Elbows and Hips and get Hearts certified. Our goal is to produce healthy, happy dogs and to continually improve the Newfoundland Breed as much as we possibly can.
Our Newfies are our Pampered Pets, Show dogs and Working dogs. They are taught Basic Obedience, Confirmation, Drafting and Swimming as this helps to keep them active and happy.
All of our dogs are home raised and trained. We make sure they are handled and socialized well, right from the beginning.
